Alpha Finance Lab has announced the launch of Alpha Venture DAO – a Builders’ DAO combining builders and Web3 users. This is for the purposes of building and incubating cutting-edge Web3 innovation.
Builders are going to receive support and mentorship from Terraform Labs, a partner of Alpha Venture DAO and Alpha Network. The latter is a group of 50+ leading investors, influences, and thought leaders in Web3. Additionally, incubated projects will have the opportunity to tap Alpha’s community of 100,000 Web3 users.
Founders on Alpha Venture DAO will get unique access to close mentorship from Alpha Network – this includes AlphaLab Capital, Multicoin Capital, SCB10X, The Spartan Group, AVA Labs, Darryl Wang, Jason Choi; alongside individuals from Crypto.com Capital, Acala Network, Bitmex, Coinbase, SIG, 1kx, Band Protocol, and many more. Furthermore, incubated projects will receive technical and infrastructure support from Terraform Labs.
Alpha Venture DAO Co-Founder Tascha Punyaneramitdee said that they believe Web3 is still in its infancy. “Since the Web3 industry is still in its infancy, we believe that it will go through multiple phases of growth. In order to remain relevant over the next 10 years, we have to be agile in how we create and capture value.”
This is why we don’t limit ourselves to only building in-house products, but we also started incubating external projects in order to grow into a multi-chain dApp ecosystem. Hence, the ALPHA token will be a proxy for Web3 innovation
Meanwhile, Terraform Labs Head of Ecosystem Development Natalie Luu shared their pride in partnering with Alpha Venture DAO and supporting founders building on the Terra ecosystem. “We welcome builders who want to join Terra’s fast-growing ecosystem to create new use cases leveraging UST stablecoin and the Terra blockchain,” Luu said.
Currently, Alpha Venture DAO contains several multi-million dollar projects in its ecosystem. For example, Beta Finance; GuildFi; and pStake. Each incubated project has secured funding from tier-1 VCs and launched successful tokens. The simultaneous focus on NFTs, DeFi, and the metaverse helped the Alpha team gather expertise to help future projects.
